Happy New Year. African horse is very good idea.
Happy New Year, Cocomino! I wish I could have my own real African horse in Tokyo! ^^
That was a superb start to 2014, Tall Gary! May it be a punny good year indeed. :)
Happy New Year Ru-san !!! I hope you will have a great year blogging away...
Happy horse year, Noriko! I hope you'll have a great photo year! ^^
Happy New Year Ru. I hope your year is filled with happiness and good times with family and friends. Lisa xo
Happy 2014, Lisa! I wish you and your family health, good food, beautiful crafts and a happy dog! ^^
Have a happy horsey year for 2014 (whatever that means) :P
A horsey year should be a good year for a runner, no? Time to get zebra-striped running shoes! :p
No Malaysia horse photo in there too. Pfftt...
Happy New Year Ru! 明けましておめでとうございます! Hope you have a great 2014 full of new shrines and lots of chocolate with the odd MOS Burger thrown in as well :)
Gelukkige Nuwe Jaar! That's "happy New Year" in Afrikaans. :)PS: I actually had a Freshness Burger for lunch, but I didn't eat the bun. My gluten-free eating pattern continues. Fortunately I could have lots of gluten-free mochi for New Year! ^^
I am both a pedant and ignorant, so this is my big chance to say that I thought a zebra wasn't a type of horse. No doubt wrong but at least it's given me the chance to be pedantic! :) Have a happy New Year and I look forward to more of your posts in 2014
That's just me acting silly! Horses and zebras can interbreed, but they're different species. Though ... this is Africa ... anything's possible ... ^^
Am back - had a short break away!Happy horse year!
My short break will be over on Monday, blah, but ... happy horse year! ^^
AkeOme!(also, squuuueeeeeeee, baby zebra!)
I second that squee! All the best for the new year and the new job! :)
Happy New Year! I hope you have another wonderful year, full of shrines, horses, foxes, chocolate, and ...a lot more of happy things!
Shrines, horses, foxes and chocolate? That would be a very good year indeed! ^^ Happy 2014 to you, too, Merry Witch, and many successful map+camera walkpeditions! ;)
Hi Rurousha. Like you I'm an expat living in Tokyo, blogging about travels in the are.http://www.lostinanime.com/search/label/JapanJust wanted to say, I've found your posts a real inspiration and taken several day-trip ideas from them - you're really a wonderful writer and photographer. If you ever want some company on one of those day trips, they sound like a real blast.
Hallo, Guardian Enzo! What a great way to start a new year: with such a nice comment from a fellow blogger! Thank you! :)I've just popped over to your blog, and uh-oh, I do believe I've bumped into another shrine&shitamachi lover! I'm always ready for another hunt, especially once it gets a bit warmer. My southern blood will probably defrost towards late March. So many mountains to climb, so many trails to follow! :)
Happy New Year Ru! Wishing you a year of happy walkpeditions, felicitous discoveries, and beautiful photographs... and plenty of umeshu! ;)
Nikko. Melktert. My first venture as "professional" photographer. ;) That's what I'm looking forward to. Happy New Year, Penguin Princess!
Adventures in carrot cake, umeshu, shrine stalking with U, umeshu....Oh, and umeshu?
Best for the new year! Don't forget about all the other horses that we have, tall ones, lazy ones, horse bees... Looking forward to more of your interesting reports - enjoying them very much!
Not to forget the political horse play down south (and up here)! Dankie, Paul, and have a great year with lots of sunshine and big blue skies! ^^
