I've returned to neutral colours to give
our eyes a rest before I change to blues and purples when hydrangeas and irises
start blooming. The current background colour is "Chinese ink" (墨 sumi) and the headlines are done in "wet
crow's wing" (濡羽色 nureba-iro), which is one of
my favourite names in Japan's list of traditional colours.
